It is only February, but one can already sense the changing of the guard that occurs each year in a law school setting. On one hand, we are preparing our third-year students for graduation. On the other, we are busy entertaining applications for a new entering class.
In between those extremes, our student organizations are starting to hold elections for leadership transitions within their respective organizations. For example, our Sports & Entertainment Law Society (SELS) will be electing new officers for the 2013-14 academic year in a lunchtime meeting today. In this particular meeting, SELS will also present a panel featuring students who were selected to attend the USC Entertainment Law Symposium. The panelists will speak on trending topics in the entertainment industry.
