Congressional Testimony

* Note: You may have already noticed, but my colleague Carlton Oliver, the Director of Student Life & Student Outreach at Pepperdine Law, is going to share blogging responsibilities with me from now on.  Carlton will take care of Wednesdays & Fridays, while I will continue to post the remaining three days each week!

Although I have been around the law school at Pepperdine for five years, the importance of the work performed by our faculty continues to astound me.  In addition to the obviously important work performed daily in shaping our students’ thinking, the scholarship of our faculty is helping shape policy for the world.

Recently, Professor Greg McNeal testified before Congress on the topic of drones and domestic surveillance.  What a privilege our students have to learn from a professor considered an expert in national security law!  You can read more about Professor McNeal’s testimony HERE.

Yours,

Al Sturgeon
