Beginning this Fall, Pepperdine Law will begin a new Ninth Circuit Appellate Clinic. In this clinic, students will have the opportunity to represent clients during an appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court. In addition to researching the legal issues presented in the case, prepare opening and reply briefs and even arguing the case before the panel of Ninth Circuit Judges, students will receive two academic units per semester. The studetns will be under the supervision of Professor Jeremy Rosen, a partner at the appellate law firm Horvitz & Levy LLP.
We’re excited to have this amazing “real world” opportunity for advocacy available to our students. I expect to have lots of excellent candidates apply for the clinic.
Stay tuned for more details during the Fall semester.
