Mediating the Litigated Case

In my world, this is a “get-ready” week.  The bar exam wrapped up last week and orientation begins next week, so for the next few days we are busy anticipating the fun/hectic time of year when a couple hundred new students arrive on campus.

But in the world of the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, this week is simply another of its many fun/hectic weeks in the summer!

This week, a sold-out crowd of legal practitioners is on hand for a six-day training program called “Mediating the LItigated Case.”

Mediation has exploded in popularity around the nation and around the world, and the Straus Institute is a world leader in the field.  This week’s conference offers legal professionals the opportunity to “study the mediation of litigated cases to either become a mediator or to be a better advocate.”
