Today I’ll be meeting with the Director of the Justice Conference, a national conference that looks to “educate, inspire and connect a generation of men and women around a shared concern for the vulnerable and oppressed”. Our meeting will involve creating a strategic partnership with a platform to promote the Pepperdine Law Global Justice Program at the upcoming conference in February.
The conference is in only its 3rd year but already growing by the thousands. Terrific speakers like Eugene Cho, founder of ‘One Day’s Wages’, Rich Stearns, President of World Vision and Bryan Stevenson, President and Founder of Equal Justice Initiatives, will all be in attendance. It should be an inspiring time to say the least!
It’s such a blessing to work at a school that looks to encourage students to consider concepts like social justice and our shared duty to help those who are most vulnerable and oppressed among us.
We’re excited about the opportunity to work with the folks from the Justice Conference and look forward to bringing a strong Pepperdine Law contingent to Downtown LA for the 2014 conference.
More to come!
