It’s taken a little while to get back on schedule here in the states but I wanted to make sure I discussed my experience with our students participating in the London Program before I moved on to other things.
While abroad, I had the opportunity to visit the Pepperdine University London House and sit in on a class. Professor Colleen Graffey’s class on Public International Law teaches students about the various forms of dispute resolution at the international level including; Mediation, Negotiation, Conciliation and Arbitration. As a supplement, students would have the opportunity to visit the International Court of Justice in Hague, Netherlands. I was actually a little jealous I wouldn’t be able to join them for the trip but as I hear it, things were amazing and really served to augment the students classroom experience.
It was great for me to catch up with a good number of our students spending this semester abroad. They are taking full advantage of the opportunities available to them living in one of the worlds greatest cities!
