I like the perspective given on this post about 1st semester law grades and why they matter and don’t matter.
It’s certainly important to take the grades seriously, they are an obvious reflection of the schools assessment of your students understanding of the material taught) BUT, it’s certainly not entirely indicative of things to come.
The old quip at the end of some Financial/Investment commercials comes to mind. “Past performance is not indicative of future results”.
