The Annual Herb and Elinor Nootbaar Conference for Law, Religion and Ethics is underway! The conference welcomes some of the country’s leading academic minds as they explore just what “law” would look like if it was focused on “Agape” love. More simply, Is law focused on the good of others?
The conference also explores this question in an “Interfaith Setting” by including practitioners of Islam, Judaism and Buddhism on how they approach the question from each respective religious context.
The conference continues into tomorrow afternoon and should have respective “highlights” posted on the School of Law website in coming weeks.
Enjoy the weekend!
