Each spring semester, the Student Bar Association transforms the law school atrium into what we affectionately call “The Pepperdome” for an afternoon of dodgeball action for the entire law school community. Last Friday marked the tenth anniversary of this fun event that provides the opportunity for law students to relieve a little stress and simply have fun.
The event encourages creative team names and costumes, along with playing a little on the competitive nature of law students! The tournament winner receives a gift certificate to a nice restaurant, and the winner of the costume contest receives a gift certificate as well. The team called “The Greatest Decade” (pictured above on the left — and believe it or not, by greatest decade, they meant the 1980s!) won the tournament. And, the cleverly-named/costumed “Dodgetown Abbey” team received the prize for Best Costume (pictured below). It was another great event thanks to Director Carlton Oliver and the hard work of the SBA leadership team.
