At this time each year, even though most of our students are away on spring break, Pepperdine Law hosts a major event–the Wm. Matthew Byrne, Jr., Judicial Clerkship Institute (“JCI”). Today and tomorrow mark the fifteenth year for this wonderful event.
JCI brings together law students from across the country who have been accepted into federal judicial clerkship positions. These students have the opportunity to gain distinctive, comprehensive training by federal judges.
In the past fourteen years, students from more than 130 different law schools clerking for more than 320 different judges have attended the program, making it a unique resource for promoting the administration of justice in our federal courts.
